It’s time for another monthly eMonetized traffic and earnings update! I’ll get right to it.
Total Visits in August 2007: 4,913
12.76% Direct Traffic
74.27% Referring Sites
12.97% Search Engines
Total visits to eMonetized was more than double the 2,200 visist in July. I was not really expecting a big increase from July but my new John Chow ads and contest certainly gave the blog a boost towards the end of the month. I did not do any other types of advertising in August. It’s really getting about time I order up some more Review Me reviews.

Organic search engine traffic continues to slowly increase. I’ll give an overview of some of the top keywords sending traffic to this blog next month.
Total Feed Subscribers up to August 31 was 286 (a 40 subscriber increase from July).
The Alexa Traffic Rank for emonetized.com as of today is 82,188 (was 127,700 in July). Take a look at the Alexa graph to see the John Chow effect. Nice jump huh!
The Technorati Traffic Rank for emonetized.com as of today is 46,088. (was 105,673 in July).
Last month I was not very satisfied with the RSS subscriber increase but I expect it to get a better boost this month as I start some new advertising case studies. Last month I was a off on my once a day desired post schedule mostly because of a week long mortgage broker class and some pregnancy issues my wife had. I’m hoping my post schedule will increase this month and I can make several new quality posts. However, with a new child possibly coming any day or week now, it’s hard to tell.
I was very happy with the large increases in the blogs Technorati and Alexa rankings. I expect those numbers to continue to improve this month. Now if we could jst get a Google Page Rank update!

Maybe I just missed it…but where’s the “earnings” portion of the report?
This blog doesn’t look like it’s being monetized right now so I don’t think there is any earnings per say Cody (although I could be wrong).

Cody, I meant to add a little blurb in the post about earnings but like Steven said, it’s very minimal at the moment. I’ll start to do some real monetization of this blog when a new design is released.

Well, I’m glad to know that my blog is in the top twenty of sending you traffic - even if it wasn’t that much. Every single little bit of it you deserved though.
Ooh, one quick question. In your title you say this is a traffic and EARNINGS recap, but I don’t see anything about any earnings.
I just noticed Tim recently added Google ads today so perhaps he hasn’t had them up long enough to actually make any earnings for August (but that is just my speculation).

I just saw an ingenious way to increase your RSS readership.
David Airey is giving away $4,000 in blog prizes to celebrate his 1 year anniversary of his blog. One of the ways that you can enter his contest is to subscribe to his RSS feed. In the feed there will be a special code. You copy the code and email it to him and that counts as one entry. Very original! Thought that might be something you could use.
