I discovered Derek Beau’s Make Money Online blog through a comment on this blog.
What attracted me to his blog was not only the quality of his posts but also that he is an already successful affiliate marketer who was starting a new blog. In other words, he was in the same boat as me. Derek has certainly started his blog on the right track. He started with an attractive blog design (I think I need more color here) and he offers clear and solid advice. I have no doubt his blog will be a successful one.

Derek’s knowledge of the industry is the true attraction to his blog. I think that the blog theme definitely not. Reason being? It’s a wordpress theme that is readily available for download and is in use on several blogs across the Internet.
While the active commenting on Derek’s site is a sign that custom themes are not a “Must Have” in order for a site to be successful, I feel that it certainly shows an attention to detail that keeps users coming back.
