You are right about niches, it is the best way to go, only that you should be careful to not get a niche that is too narrow and make no traffic out of it.

I think it’s also important to ensure you have an interest in your chosen niche – this helps keep you motivated and productive (in my experience, at least!).

Perhaps the best thing to do is to sell a product within a niche that you are part of and familiar with. When i started my Greek Store, the success of my business was largely due to the fact that I was in involved in Greek life.
