It was an interesting situation to say the least, but thankfully I use Namecheap and not someone like Godaddy. I am in the middle of trying to understand exactly what happened, so that I can then explain it

I had just spotted it had appeared as the top story when things took a turn for the worse, though it took a while for it to take a downturn, and then recover due to the nature of propagation.

I did spend a fair amount of time on the review and the research that allows the page hopefully a lot of longevity.

If a post provides value to both the person ordering a review, and my readers, without any links or traffic, that is my ideal situation.

The linking I did was editorial but as I am SEO aware, as with all linking I do try to give people the best links possible. Including good anchor text isn’t just for the engines, it tells readers what the page being linked to is all about.

Hopefully you will gain a few subscribers and some traffic both short and long-term. I do reference my reviews and especially my SEO posts quite frequently, so it will gain from internal linkage. How much it will eventually gain from external linkage is the luck of the dice.

Hey I read Andy’s review of your site, and I also found it to be extremely thorough and worthwhile to read. And that’s even taking into account the fact that I had nothing at stake in the review!

I also wanted to check out the layout of your site myself. It’s clean and easy to read.
