There are millions of blog readers on the internet but is anyone is reading your blog? Now this could be for a number of reasons. Maybe you are never updating the blog? Maybe you don’t put enough thought into your posts. Maybe you are not offering anything new?
Each of those possible readership problems can be fixed but it does not really matter much if no one is finding your blog in the first place! That’s a useful list. I think that any list of directories like this needs some kind of personal touch to say if they’re any good or not. I’m really lazy when it comes to submitting my blogs to blog directories, but then if I want the traffic, I should do it.
Great list, I was in search of this list for a long time. Is there any way to submit the blog to all the directories in least possible time.

It takes too long to submit to:
Blog directory,
Social Bookmarking site,
Search engines,
and so on!
I will try to submit to as many as I can!

Pretty comprehensive list.
I’d add Yahoo’s MyBlogLog to the list too.
Till Twitter and FB got hot recently, the MBL widget was da bomb!
This list is quite simply superb, as you mentioned already must have taken hours to compile, and it’s very useful thanks again.
Personally I think that blog flux are excellent.

well that was a very good collection and i am really very much interested. I too submitted to some directories and after seeing this list i am going to submit to remaining.
I know that submitting your blog in many directories wouldn’t be very pleasant for search engines. anyway, thanks for the list. i think it would be efficient to stick with some of them.
