RIP eMonetized?

Posted in: General by Tim Schroeder

I think I’m going to make some changes to eMonetized and shift this blog in a new direction. I’d love to hear any input you might have. If you want to follow what I’m doing on a more daily basis, I’ve been having a lot of fun micro blogging on Twitter. You can follow me on Twitter here. I also purchased the domain TimSchroeder.com from a domain reseller which I’m going to use for something. I may turn that domain into my new main blog.

Here are a couple possible ideas I had for eMonetized.com

1. A Product and Service Review type blog

I review various affiliate products and services and give honest reviews on if they are crap or actually worth the price. This would entail myself actually buying the product or service and giving in-depth review with some screenshots. It’s amazing how often people recommend products without ever even trying them.

2. An Advertising / Internet Marketing Case Studies blog
Basically I buy ads (banners, text links, reviews etc) on other blogs and ad networks and share the results. You’ll learn which websites and services have the potential to send you the most traffic.

What do you think?

While I decide which direction to take this blog and/or timschroeder.com, check out these recommended affiliate networks:

1. Advaliant

Why? Really Nice Exclusives. Network contests. Alla La.

2. Market Leverage

Why? Best Referral Program. High default offer payouts. They sent me some really cool stuff!

3. CX Digital

Why? I made $4700 in 1 day with CX Digital. Nate’s a cool dude.

4. Hydra Network

Why? They seem to have the most new daily offers. High default payouts.

5. PepperJam Network

Not really a CPA network but their a great alternative to CJ. $10 signup bonus.

More Affiliate Networks.

Seems to me to be a good idea to get some really worthy advice before venturing ourselves into some affiliate program

I really enjoy and learn alot from Case studies. Some of the subjects I would like to see as studies are article marketing, PPC campaigns, landing pages and how the same offers perform on different ad networks.

Good luck on your quest to find your passion, it’s funny how even though you like what you do, it doesn’t drive you, find that and that will matter most, as what moves us is what gives us our greatest value. Good luck.

I like the advertising case study option. Finding traffic is a never ending battle, and the more informed decisions the better.

Well, i think second idea would be a lot more interesting, and could bring a lot of curious internet marketers. Reviewing blogs i old now, and i think people don’t like reading reviews any more.

Good luck on your quest to find your blog passion, it hink it could be a great idea if you took it in a new direction, as long as you feel whole with it.

Cheers,
Mel

I visited TimSchroeder.com to see if you had decided yet. Any word yet? I like the purchasing ad myself, could use the advice and reviews. A frequent visit and definite subscribe IMHO.

Nice selection of affiliate programs. I am going to check these on my own.

Btw, I think that both ideas above are good and that you should simply pick one of them and stick to it.

Good luck,

They both sound like great ideas! Do you think the new domain will be a personal blog, or will take over for eMonetized? I think it’s good to have a face to go with the advice, so maybe one of each? So many decisions, but I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide, and will continue to follow the blog!

It is always good to step back and take a new direction with what you are doing to keep life interesting.

I think the review sites have so many people doing that right now maybe I would lean towards the internet case studies that sounds like a great idea and would probably be more valuable to you in the long run. Just my opinion but who the hell am I ? :)

Case Study Blogs(Proper Ones) are not something that you can find everywhere and I think that will be an interesting and rare niche if you take it up. There is more scope for a value based readership.

Good Luck!

I would go for the Avertising / Internet Marketing Case Studies blog. It’s great to learn which websites and services have the potential to send the most traffic and ROI. Let us know what you’re going to do.

Have you decided to quit or continue? If so why?

Happy Holidays….
