Is the whole point of Twitter to just post a one sentence status and let your friends list people know what you’re up to? Did it just take the status idea from facebook and convert that into an entire site.

I like Twitter and at first I was addicted but it bugged me that I needed to have my browser open to use it. Then Ed Dale introduced me to Twhirl, now I don’t need my browser open and I can even minimize it to my system tray when I want it out of the way.
Even with it miniminzed I still see my messages coming in.

No, and I dont know why should I use it, it’s a waste of time.

It’s useful if you follow the right person. Try to follow someone and if they post useless updates for you, you can leave them.
I follow some bloggers to keep updated on their posts. faster than rss i think

No, but it looks like I should. However my twitts would probably be quite boring.
I don’t kow much about twitter other than everyone keeps talking about it, will have to check it out. The only thing I’m concerned about is wasting time that could be best used making money elsewhere.
