yep wireless is great. I i had to pick one technological investion this decade that has really changed the way in which we live our lives I would go for wireless technology. It just offers such flexibility and you can use it in hotls and resturants and bars across the world for free, because many provide free wireless networks.

I was looking into wireless cards, but my travels are often to Europe. Sprint is the only Company that offers a card that works internationally. However, my provider is Verizon so i would have had to cancel that or pay for a new plan just to have that.

I decided to just stick with hotspots while in Europe :)

i tried using slingbox on my verizon i730 (pda phone). even with the EVDO, it kept on dropping the connection. but my phone always seemed to do (even when i'm not moving around) that to the point where i thought it was just the way it works.

but my friend's new verizon pda phone had no problems streaming in one location. haven't tried it yet in the car.

but yea...if the connection is steady, you can definitely watch tv in your car. lol.
